Zoya discovered a pathway to Spirit when she studied classical voice, creating a channel with sound, vibration, and inner reflection. It is also through music that Zoya has found solace and commune with her ancestors. Ancient Echo’s dance upon this journey of awakening is fluid, vibrant, and engaged – a sacred spiral of connection with your ancestors that can invite your spirit in for a closer look or release you.

Her offering begins here, with the deep ties she has to her Assyrian and Celtic ancestry. Our roots are common, each of us coming from The Source, weaving back together into a time before humanity began to stake a claim in the Spirit World.

Invocation: Calling in the Mother

Invocation – The Assyrian word for Mother (Yimmeh), heard at the zenith of Zoya’s prayer, is the only word in this earthy invitation to the ancient ones; those whose voices were heard even before the birth of language. An invitation to reconnect with our lineage to the Divine Mother.

Green Tara Mantra

Meditation – A haunting chant accompanied by the droning reeds of the Indian shruti box. Green Tara is Compassion paired with Action.

Grandmother Chant

Celebration – An adaptation of an Armenian song gifted to Zoya by her grandmother, who sang it when she was in the most celebratory of moods. An energy from “before our time”, dedicated to our Grandmothers.

Mother Harmony

Mystery – From the deepest space within the womb, two threads are woven – sometimes separate, sometimes together, but always dancing with one another. Dissonant and harmonious like our Ancestors, always in communion with our heartspace.

Coming Home

Grounding – Seeking solace in the place of beginnings and endings, we return home to The Source and re-ground within our bodies. May our earth-sky connection be strong.
